About Us

Sydney Foil School was created to make foiling more accessible, less intimidating, and genuinely enjoyable.

Foiling is one of the most exciting developments in water sports, but learning it without guidance can be frustrating and slow. Our approach is simple: personalised coaching, clear instruction, and a calm, supportive environment that lets you focus on enjoying the experience.

Whether your goal is to try something new, build confidence on the water, or unlock the feeling of effortless flight, Sydney Foil School is here to help you get there.

Meet Will

“I’m Will, the owner and head instructor at Sydney Foil School. If you name a watersport, I’ve probably given it a go over the years”

I’ve been in and around the water for as long as I can remember, exploring as many different ways to have fun out there as possible.

My Dad got me into windsurfing and kitesurfing, being my personal coach, photographer and inspiration from the start. I gained a strong understanding of the wind and waves through countless hours learning how to fly kites, control sails and ride boards.

When foiling came along, I was immediately hooked. The efficiency and freedom of riding above the water opened up lighter winds, new locations, and a completely different way to experience time on the water.

And here we are with Sydney Foil School. A place created to share that experience and help others discover foiling in a way that feels safe, achievable, and genuinely enjoyable. Whether you’re completely new or looking to refine your skills, my aim is to help you progress with confidence and enjoy every step of the learning process.
